Brewing Theme: A Taste of Kingston Summer
Homecraft Brew & Wine and King’s Town Beer Company are proud and excited to offer Kingston’s First Annual Homebrew Competition beginning on Monday, April 1, 2019!
April 1 – June 15 Registration (Opens April 1) 100 maximum entries for the competition; 1 entry per person
June 15 - 30 – Submission Window
July 1 - 10 – Judging Rounds
July 11 – Judging Final Round (will take place Thursday night at King's Town Brewing Co.)
A note on theme: Brew a beer (and name it!) that tastes like a Kingston summer should taste like (if it were a refreshing beer)
To make this happen, we will need four (4), 12 to 16 oz. bottles of your homebrew!
Two bottles submitted between June 15 & June 30, two bottles held in reserve, available if your beer makes the final round.
Awards for Homebrew Competition
Best of Show: 1st Place – Bragging rights! Your recipe will be brewed at King’s Town brewery, and marketed and sold at the Brewery and at MacKinnon Brothers Back to the Farm Craft Beer Festival.
- Fee $10.00 per entry; one entry per person. - - Surplus from entry fees will be donated to charity
- Only non-commercially brewed beer - - Must be 19 or older
